The visit to Athens is an important one for our intrepid crew in Agrippa’s Map©. Athens is an ancient city filled with ruins and superb museums. Unfortunately, it has also suffered severe damage throughout the centuries. As a result, it can feel surprisingly modern to visitors expecting the terracotta rooftops of its neighbors to the west. Nevertheless, the beauty of the city and its people shine through. If you are unfamiliar with the city, I offer the photographs below.
